This procedure is optional, but useful for testing purposes or when you are setting up a lot of nodes and want to test/troubleshoot them quickly.

Turn on technician mode for this card
- Open your web browser to the admin Web UI, click the “Cashier” button at the top of the page.
- Take out a new and unregistered RFID card and swipe it on your cashier node.
- The webpage should automatically change to show you the Card details for the new card.
- Click “Card Options”, scroll down to “Admin Only”, and make sure that both of these options are checked:
- “Is Service Card” YES
- “Is Courtesy Card” YES
- “Is infinite balance” NO
- Click “Finalize Transaction”
Congrats: You now have a special “Technician” service card.
Try swiping it on any node (including the cashier node) and it will do the following:
- Display a special technician service screen with some info about this node (mac address, wifi, node ID, etc)
- Ignore all config settings and send two different 2-second arcade coin pulses. (useful for testing).
- This special arcade coin line pulse test works on any node regardless of what mode (machine, kiosk, cashier, etc) that they are assigned to.
- This EVEN works when the node is unassigned, which is incredibly useful when setting up a LOT of nodes in a large arcade venue.
